LoveSeat Love....

I love the look of these upholstered love-seat sofas. They create such an opulent feeling especially when the fabric has a lovely texture and colour...love the silvery gray brocade and bubble gum pink velvet for a little girl's room. My house was built in the 30's and although the back of the house has been renovated into a open plan family room/kitchen, which is very popular now, we kept one of the front rooms as our formal living room. I feel kind of sad for this room as no one enjoys it, I sometimes go in to have a quiet read but generally Im only in there to dust and clean up. Anyway Ive been thinking about changing things around in the formal room, it could do with a little pick me up, a new lamp or print maybe?

I spotted this limited print by Sofia Barao in her etsy store...I think that would look beautiful in there. How pretty!!

I love Carolina Herrera Jr's loveseat as seen in an old issue of Domino. She said she found it on Ebay and had it shipped to her apt in Madrid!
The Herrera girls are super stylish!

I had to share this cool image my neighbour emailed me!
how clever is this ad!!
Tres chic!

You find the most gorgeous images and they all tie in so well. That print is gorgeous. And well, even for a hopeless case like me, that poster would make me want to go to ballet classes, in my pale pink leotard. Now there's a pretty picture you wouldn't want to be posting ....

That little girl's room is super stylish for a posh princess :) Love the sofas with its beautiful silky fabric and textures. Adore Sofia's prints, I think I'll have to get one myself! How about turning that room into an art room/office? Or do you have one already?...Lovely post today.

such a pretty set of loveseat images! a formal room is a funny thing, isn't it? we don't have one but e's grandparents both did and it was a very dark room with heavy drapes that was very little used... these images bring some light and life into the idea! xo

Anastasia - I hardly ever see a glossy magazine here - my Italian isn't good enough to make them worth buying, so discovering you blog is a delight with its feast of beautiful images.

You do find such lovely things to post about - I can just see a love-seat in our bedroom, but we'd have to get a four-poster bed first! When I was little all I ever wanted was a four-poster bed, they are majestic!

i love those types of love seats too. i have a purple tufted victorian style chair that i love...i'll have to post it once i'm living with it again. (it now lives in my parent's basement.) but i dream of owning an old house like you and decorating it in a mix of traditional and modern. some nods to its history but also some modern touches to make it feel now.
i love that print...it would look lovely with any of the couches you posted. will you show us your finished product???

I would love to have one of those little sofas at the end of our bed. I'm emailing the ballet ad to my neighbor that owns a dance studio. What a clever idea.

Obviously from the images youar e sharing, you have amazing taste! And, anything you add to your unused room will be wonderful. I think almost every house has that one little used room..And it always houses the loveliest things...Love the print! Get it!!! xxo,V
