Red Friday
Here is Neo and his red balloon. Who needs expensive toys - this balloon gave him so much joy and fun for hours - totaly wore him out before bed time.
Cant believe my little man will be 18mnths next week - I can still remember giving birth to him and experiencing the joys of motherhood all over again. After having my first boy Peter, I used to wonder how can I love another baby as much but that raw mother love hits you in the face in an instant. He was a demanding baby so very different to my Peter and he refused just refused a bottle so we breastfed for a year and it was a wonderful experience. Neo, you make me smile and laugh and i love you to bits!!!!!!

Beautiful !!
ReplyDeleteAwe! Adorable little guy & pictures! I remember feeling the same way- that there was no way I could love another as much as the first- but you just do. You become overwhelmed with so much love for both- it's really amazing. How old is your peter? Mine are almost 5 (ethan) and 16 months(isaak) - I'm still breastfeeding my little isaak. He loves it too much, and so do I, so I'll just keep on going for a bit longer.
ReplyDeleteawww thanks girls!!!
ReplyDeleteRegina - Peter will be 4yrs old in 5mnths. with Neo it was great to breastfeed with ease as Peter kept refusing my breast - it was total stress for a first time mum who wanted to BF so badly! I forced it for 4mnths then expressed for another 2 and just gave up as I was so physically tired so it was great to able to do it for a year with Neo.
pure joy in red
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely, lovely - more happy red pics!!
ReplyDeleteYour 'colour week' has been lovely to follow - what a great idea. btw - Thanks for your comments on my blog - I'm glad you enjoy my stuff - my memory paintings are mostly .005 micron pen, filled in with watercolour. I do a pencil drawing first and trace it on to good w/c paper on my lightbox.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. It's amazing the things they will play with. My 15 month old is enjoying an empty tube from the toilet paper right now!
ReplyDeletep.s. my girl refused the bottle as well. After spending a ton of money trying every possible bottle I could find I just gave in. She's just starting to transition to sippie cups. Wouldn't change a thing.
ReplyDeleteneo is absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteWow he looks so grown up for 18m. Such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling little one. He has such expressive eyes. Just wait though - red balloons will not be enough before very much longer. Enjoy this age and each age as it comes. They grow up very quickly.
