I hope those wires are wired down properly......
I was about 6 yrs old the first time I visited a real circus....I can still remember it vividly in my mind...my sister and I were so excited and were waiting anxiously for the day to arrive!
I loved the clowns and the huge elephant the most....

I went to a circus like that in Mexico, once. The odd thing was that the circus tent was at the top of this hill, which made the stunts seem that much more dangerous! As Always I love your illustrations, and envy your mastery of the pen/pencil.

This is a very cool drawing. You got the perspective right, and you get the feel everyone in the crowd is both amazed and nervous. :-) Really nice line work and use of colored pencils.

What a sweet memory, I am a little scared of clowns now (featured in too many horror movies)!
Haven't been to the circus in a while but I road one of the elephants just about six years ago. The elephant really didn't care about my age...what a guy.

I adore the circus, I still find it exciting as an adult. The ringmaster, and all the acrobatics. Love your drawing, she's a real dare devil without the net!

i used to love going to the circus as a kid and was in complete awe of the acrobats. great idea and illustration.
I love the circus! But, seeing as how I am a professional worry wart.. I can remember sweating the tightrope event so much that I think I had a 5yr old girl anxiety attack as a kid!! Love the drawing.. such detail.. whew!!xxo, Vanessa
