lucky we bought winter jackets and scarfs - we all had a great time though...we visited Floriade
an annual spring flower festival and the tulips were so so beautiful!! too bad I suffer from hay fever haha!

It's so neat the way that blogging helps to keep me aware of what is happening where in the world. Spring in your country is very beautiful!

  8. I was also in Canberra overnight on the weekend - didn't go to Floriade but it was FREEZING!! Can't believe it's the same country when the weather in Sydney is now this hot!

  9. Oh, scary knombs, noooooo!! Beautiful flowers, was everyone using the good old "carpet of flowers" cliche, i love it. We're about to go into garden over drive as the Monsoons come in, love Posie

I have seen photos of Canberra and I was amazed how green it all looks - looking at the photos which were taken from a local hill, all you can see is the odd building - no roads or anything else for all the trees. It looks like just the sort of place I'd love to visit! Love the gnomes!

  12. Hey look at all those gnomes, who could resist a photo of that ! ~ love Julia x

  13. canberra sounds like so much fun... love the tulips and especially the gnomes!
