Cute illo! If you go to western plains zoo they let you get close enough to pat the giraffes.

ReplyDeleteMe too! I've always loved giraffes. We have a baby giraffe at our zoo, but by now it must be nearly as tall as his parents! Great illustration!

ReplyDeleteI also love giraffes. I have petted giraffes at a Drive Thru Animal Park in Glen Rose, Texas.
I stood up in the back of the open van/truck and while the giraffes ate out of the large cups full of food ... I petted them!
Velvet, their hair feels like velvet!
great illustration....giraffes have soft, velvety noses like a horse.....but watch out for that tongue.
