A Dress a day....
if only I could sew - id make heaps of dresses because at the moment I open my wardrobe every morning and find absolutely nothing to wear!
its frustrating... and embarrasing - im sure the other mothers at the school think I only have one outfit:
jeans and a jumper (in summer its jeans and a Tshirt)
well i cant sew but I have made a bunch of paper dress gift tags - cut, then glue to cardstock so they are nice and durable, then I cut out again - team up with pretty ribbons and lets play dress ups! its all good fun!
Those are really lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteIf you could sew your dresses would be gorgeous if those lovely tags are anything to go by x
ReplyDeleteSo (sew?!) pretty AC!!
ReplyDeleteLovely idea!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous Anastasia-what a great idea :)
ReplyDeleteYou need to learn, I am sure with your great eye for detail you would do super. Love the paper ones.
ReplyDeleteUr new tags are sweet!:)
ReplyDeleteI love your paper dresses! I can only sew basics so I can't sew dresses or things with sleeves =(
ReplyDeleteBut your so talented I wouldn't be surprised if you could sew later on =)
These paper dresses are just wonderful. Your blog is so inspirational. i want to get out my paper & scissors and starting creating. I can't remember the last time I sewed (perhaps age 13).
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! Very creative.
ReplyDeleteI agree... wouldn't it be just wonderful to be able to sew? And to create lovely clothing exactly like you have in mind (avoiding crowded shopping centres would be a plus also)
ReplyDeleteYour paper dresses are just beautiful! Love the little brooches:)
I just love them. They look fantastic. I'm fascinated by the way as artists we grow and develop our styles and work. It's great to watch your journey with your paper goods.
ReplyDeleteWho needs to sew when you can make such beautiful tags!? ... I can sew but I am terrible with paper and scissors *lol*
ReplyDeleteLOVE the tags. The embellishments just totally make them!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, this looks like it was loads of fun!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could sew as well!! These little dress gift tags are very sweet. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteWith all the kaftans back in fashion this year, I feel the urge to sew, myself! It shouldn;t be that difficult, if I decide to accept failure as part of the process, aka spoiling some yards of not so precious fabric!
ReplyDeleteI love these, they would go so well with my Amy Bultler card stock bags I have bought to make cards with
ReplyDeleteI love these cards! Your papercraftiness (new word?!) is just lovely!!
