a week of LoVE
Style Icon: Jenny Cavallari

' LOVE Story (1970)' - one of my favourite movies that I love to curl up and watch when Im on my own... ive seen it so many times!

The story can seem a little cheesy these days and the acting quite bad haha
but the lovers Jenny and Oliver, are so likeable as we watch them fall in love (infamous lines "Jenny, for Christ’s sake, how can I read John Stuart Mill when every single second I’m dying to make love to you?") and their differences, support of one another ("love means never having to say your sorry' )
and of course the tragic ending ....'What can you say about a twenty-five year old girl who died? That she was beautiful and brilliant. That she loved Mozart and Bach. The Beatles. And me.'

Grab your tissues people as this movie will make you cry!
The scenery of Boston and New York is an added plus and the music score very beautiful!
One of the most inspiring things for me is (Ali McGraw) Jenny Cavallari's preppy style, totally worth watching just for the fashion!
All her outfits are wearable now, 40 years later!
Beautiful camel wool coat, cloche hats and opaque stockings with cute mod style flats, flirty skirts and turtlenecks, trench coat, white jeans with navy tee in Summer - its a classic american look that will never date - even her simple wedding day suit with a silky ribbon in her hair - Just perfect!
she's definetely one of my style icons!
you can see the trailer here - go grab it on DVD, you'll love it!

  6. It sounds really good, but I disagree with one of those lines.

"Love means never having to say you're sorry." That isn't really true, in my humble opinion. Love is recognizing when you've done something that constitutes an apology, but feeling okay about saying it because you care for that person.

Either way it sounds like a good film to snuggle to. :D
