Rustic Fireplaces

im loving the way the mantels below are decorated - a little bit shabby and a whole lot of chic!

We have a fireplace in our formal lounge. Its not a working fireplace but its still the focal point of the room.
Think i might need a little update.....

  2. My little home did not come with a fireplace, so several years ago my mother build one for my home. She loves to work with wood, so now I have my own mantel and a very special heirloom to pass down. Thanks Mom!!

  5. Lovely pictures. I've always wanted a fireplace. I think it can look beautiful in a lounge room.

  6. I would give anything for a fireplace, they just seem to make a room so romantic, especially during the winter, nothing beats wine by the fire!
