Its my version of the Green Eyed Monster. I was thinking of Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the wind for some reason??

EDM Challenge #59 Spring

When the weather is warm we practically live in our garden!

We are so lucky to have many warm & sunny days during the year and even winter in Australia is quite mild, so we spend lots of time outside sitting, eating , reading and entertaining.

Its currently Autumn here in Australia so we are getting lots of dry leaves all over the place - very messy but its still very green and pretty!

EDM Challenge #58 - Hat


This hat belonged to Peter my eldest boy and its not a special hat - just a cute floppy baby hat in pale blue with a dog motif on the front. It was handed down to Neo my youngest and now they have both outgrown it. I usually donate the clothes that are too small for them but somehow this hat missed the clean out and we still have it at home.

Feet need some extra TLC though, dont u think??

EDM Challenge #57

I have loads of photo frames placed in spots around the house.

This one is a silvery gray metal one with flowers, leaves and twigs embossed. The picture is of my mother as a teenager (we laugh and tell her she looks younger today at 53!!!) in her hometown Larnaca, Cyprus.

My parents always had professional photos done in old fashioned studios when they lived in Cyprus.

I think people over there still get them done as there are so many photography studios scattered all over town - I wonder how their business' are going these days with so many people using digital cameras?

One tradition high school graduates have over there is to get some professional pocket sized black and white shots of themselves and to exchange amongst each other - I think thats a really neat idea!!

Dont kids just love pondering in the garden looking for insects.

I wonder if Insects feel the same way as they hurry along to hide in the nearest bush - these ones are coming forward to say 'hello'!
