He looks a little defiant and at the same time surprised by his punishment, you've brought much emotion to his face with simple lines. Fine piece of work.
Goos job on illustrating the topic! He not only looks sorry but make all of us feel sorry for him! I like your Mother's post too, does she still play at all?
Hello, I'm Anastasia from Sydney, Australia. Welcome to my blog, 'Anastasia Drawing & Dreaming' a place where I share my inspirations, creative people, beautiful interiors, wonderful crafts and lovely bits of handmade.
I'm so glad that we don't do this to kids any more. I love your drawing, though.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, poor guy. Wonder what he did?
ReplyDeleteWonderful illo!
So sad! :-) Great job, as usual, Anastasia!

I agree Robin. My first grade teacher was a mean old bat and did this to me. I still haven't quite forgiven her. Great drawing anyhow!
ReplyDeleteYes, this is how it used to be.
ReplyDeleteGreat expression. Love the bandaid on the knee, great colours and concept!
ReplyDeleteLove this - poor kid. The band-aid is perfect and the expression is just great.
