Illustration Friday - Phoenix

I had no idea what to draw for this week's topic and my Phoenix looks more like a plucked chicken but she has her feathered cape and retro sunglasses and is ready for some fun!

Very fun chicken-phoenix!

To answer your question, marshmallow creme is gooey marshmallows-in-a-jar. I use it for making fudge, but I ended up skipping that on my Christmas baking this year. It is fun to shop in other countries/cultures' stores! I love to go to the international district near my house and shop in the Asian stores. Hardly anyone speaks English (even the workers) and it reminds me of visiting Japan.

It also kind of reminds me of a Peacock,or "pea-hawk" as my youngest calls it.
