Inspired by a box

are you a sucker for beautiful packaging?
well i am!
this lovely box of soap was part of a birthday parcel sent to me by my darling friend Tammy who is always so super kind and generous and
has the most exquisite taste (and style!) ...the box and soap inside were so beautiful,
the floral scent is divine....

it totaly inspired me to sit and create this collage card this afternoon
' a girl named Lily'

Wow how beautiful. I just bought some chocolates yesterday at San Churro they packaged them so beautifully in an illustrated box. I'm a sucker for creative packaging too I bought a box of chocolates in Vienna that were packaged like a chest of drawers. I'll have to do a blog post on them they're amazing and very unique :)

I love pretty packaging. There are so many pretty soaps. Sometimes you don't want to use it because it's to beautiful to open.

I really love this collage card. It's really lovely! x

Hello Anastasia, i haven't been a good blogger in 2009 so great to come back to see your blog still so lovely & interesting!!
I am a packaging lover & introducing new handmade touches to my packaging this year. Including hand stamped stickers!! Can't wait to get back into work so i can actually use them!! Better yet, a dear friend/ mummy from school has her own packaging company - all environmentally friendly/ biodegradable & post consumer recycled combinations of fabulous boxes, bags, cello, she's just ace - not to mention incredibly handy for restocking me at the school gate. Love Posie

Lily is just gorgeous! What a talent you have. I've been looking around various blogs, and yours is very well done and fun to go through. Thanks for sharing your ideas and thoughts. (I like how you indicate that NYC seems to be obsessed with cupcakes...)
