This is ... the space in which I create
i have a spare room which is where I keep my craft supplies but because i usually craft late at night after my boys go to bed I sit in the corner of our family room so I can chat to my husband and watch TV too....
i try to tidy up before I go to bed but I usually leave little piles of paper, magazines and ephemera everywhere....lots of glue sticks too!!
to check out where everyone else creates have a look at Angela's blog to see who is playing 'This is...'

I used to write on the kitchen table before I had a poper writing desk. I do love that cosiness of working in the vicinity of the living room.
ReplyDeleteEven though I have my "creative room", so much of the time it spills over so I can be with my husband. It feels more cosy that way.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to be able to comute between spaces and leave our little piles behind us!
ReplyDeleteAll that natural light is beautiful. It is lovely to settle in of an evening working on projects while being with loved ones.
ReplyDeleteLooks a great space! Hehe I do the working in the living room chatting to my husband thing too, otherwise we'd never see each other!
ReplyDeleteHi Anastasia, your space is lovely and cosy! I have done the opposite - I installed a sofa and TV (and husband) in my craft room!
ReplyDeleteThats a great bright space! I do the same, my 'create' space is really used on weekends and the couch at night with the man after Maddie's asleep is blogging time!
ReplyDeleteLooks very inviting!
ReplyDeleteI work in the lounge as well and chat with my husband while he does tai chi or practices his drumming. LOL
Then of course, there is CSI.....
LOL! I like the idea of larks; to move the tv and husband to the crafting room!
Yeah, I really miss making craft in front of the TV late at night. In our last house it was so cramped we had the dining table pushed against the wall of the loungeroom, and I would sit up there and paint or sew into the night. Now we have a dining room. Which is great for eating, but no good for crafting.
ReplyDeleteHey, can I borrow some glue? ;) hehehehe
I like to be "among the action" when I am crafting too although I can NEVER find a glue stick when I need one... Now I know where they have all gone ;)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a nice place to sit.
ReplyDeleteYes, the little piles of paper seem to multiply when left over night don't they... And the glue sticks vanish! I have a few glue stick 'hidden' around the place! It seems I can never find them when I want them! Oh well...
I know what you mean. If Im crafting at night, I take my supplies down to the lounge room for the same reason.
ReplyDeleteOne can never have enough glue sticks! Lovely Blog btw.
I don't like shutting myself away to be creative either. I like to have the company in the evenings. My partner and my cats, TV and conversation.
ReplyDeleteLovely craft space, even with all the bits and pieces laid out on the table - you are tidier than I am!
ReplyDeleteHaven't commented on this one yet either(I am a bad blogger!shame)I had seen it already, but perhaps on my computer at work where I couldn't comment.I love seeing the place where you create! And now I know who the gorgeous person behind this room is....xoxo
