Last weekend we headed on down to Petersham, Sydney's own 'Little Portugal', for their annual food & wine fair.
The sun was shining and it was such a great turnout - people everywhere!
Delicious food, folk dancing, sweet treats...
Lunch was grilled sardines served with garlic peppers on rustic corn bread....can i just say 'Yum'..
we also treated ourselves to sweet custard tarts and doughnuts - perfect with a strong coffee!
' Silva's' - both a busy take away and sit down restaurant - great food everytime!
'Gloria Cafe' - serving home style Portuguese meals for over 20 years....for sweets head on over to 'Honeymoon Patisserie'
- yummy baked goods, the custard tarts are amazing!!
and'Sweet Belem Cake Boutique' across the street is delicious too!!! worth checking out next time you're in Sydney.
* all photos by me and there's my Neo enjoying his custard tart *
That looks like a great day!
