Illustration Friday - Remember
Can you remember when.....
* Twirling around until you were dizzy was SO much fun
*Long hot summers meant being outdoors all day playing and looking for adventure
* favourite TV shows were shows like 'The Brady Bunch' and 'Gilligan's Island'
* When a McDonalds 'Big Mac' burger was so big you couldnt finish it?
* You believed in the World of magic and make believe....

Yes, seems I have more worries and less time for magic and pretend, but when things get really bad I pull out afavorite children's book and remember that an adult wrote this book, an adult who still keeps a chillike lust for life in their heart. It reminds me that I should do the same.

What a lovely illustration, I love being outdoors, playing, looking for adventure and make believe, perhaps we should put some of that magic back in as adults :)

  12. My sister, Fanciful Twist, wears nightgowns that look like that all the time. She runs around barefoot and twirls everyday!!! I love it! I am still jealous of your art skills!!

lovely drawing!!! I watch my Andrew twirl a lot and he always asks me to do it with him! It's not a good thing to do when you are pregnant though!

Well, maybe I do twirl oin funny nightgowns(ie KSV's comment). But, only because even thought I am 31 I can not believe that my sister and I are allowed to run around and have late nights up chatting and being kooky and have "No Parental Supervision!" :) Now, that is what I love. You mean, I can sleep at my boyfriends house? Even if he is a hippie??? YESSSS siry! Why? Cuz, I am all growed up and not noone can tell me what to do. And I can wear my Hairs so long as crrrrazy as I want! Woo Hooo!!! Love the girl. Although, I do have vertigo (sign of age) and I have to go easy on the twirling... he....
