This is my favourite Quote(s)....
way too many beautiful, thoughtful quotes out there!

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart."
~Helen Keller ( i was obsessed with the Helen Keller story as a young girl)

"Be the change you want to see in the world."-Ghandi

"Don't point a finger, lend a hand"

"Hope is putting faith to work when doubting would be easier." –anonymous

To wish you were someone else is to waste the person you are."

"Fall down seven, stand up eight"
Japanese proverb

thanks to Strawberry Kisses for this week's
'This is' suggestion!

  1. Great quotes! I especially like the 'don't waste who you are' one, simple but so powerful.

  9. Such a lovely collection! I was so touched when a Japanese friend taught me that proverb not that long ago - she was using it to talk about me! I was going through a rough patch at the time, but kept fighting.

  11. Did that come out right... you know what I mean - that they can be so powerful in spite of their simplicity. It's late. Forgive my poor wording.

great quote selections! one of my fave quotes is just like the Helen Keller: "On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur; l'essential est invisible pour les yeuxs." Which means, "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; the essential is invisible to the eyes." It's from The Little Prince. :)

I hadn't heard the one about wishing you were someone else - that is great! :)
