Paper Lanterns
i tried to make some paper lanterns today.
i actually remember
making these as a young girl so when I saw some
in a craft magazine i thought it would be fun to try
but I struggled....
by the third one it kind of looked like what its meant to
and opened up with ease .....oh well
sometimes you just have to give it a try huh?!
Have a FAB saturday everyone!
Its nice and sunny here!

ReplyDeleteI remember making paper lanterns and being confounded as to why they were called lanterns if they didn't emit light or allow for a light source... I was a shockingly literal child (:
They look great A - gorgeous paper!
ReplyDeletethose are beautiful! love the paper and ribbon you used.
ReplyDeleteTres chic lantern here Anastasia!...made these when I was little too...we used to make all the Christmas decos...lanterns (usually made from old birthday and Christmas cards), paper chains, strings of milk bottle tops (the aluminium ones from the 'old days')...and those paper streamers that you crisscrossed two long skinny pieces of paper at right angles...
