ReplyDeleteMy favourite movie, is the one where my friend lets me come on her trip to NYC while packed in her suitcase - so jealous.
ReplyDeleteOn the Town, of course! Or, for something completely different, Donnie Brasco!
ReplyDeleteOhh so exciting! Can't wait until I can go there one day. Breakfast at Tiffany's in a definite fave. I'm sure you will love it when you have your holiday.
ReplyDeleteWe stumbled across Law and Order SVU being filmed when we were there in 2003. My favourite to see would have been Sex in the City though.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you, I would be bursting if I were going in only two months, NYC is next on my travel list. Manhatten is def my fave Woody Allen film.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will have a wonderful time. My favorite has to be Breakfast at Tiffany's..

oooh so exciting!!
ReplyDeleteI go to NYC in Nov, so you can let me know your best bits!! x
Oh I love pretty much all those movies...but most of all I love, love, love Moonstruck...I have watched it so many times and will cherish it always as an all-time favourite!!
ReplyDeleteHome Alone 2! Tee hee hee!
ReplyDeleteYou will LOVE IT in NY.
I have never been to NYC, but I love seeing movies that are set in Chicago, or NY, or Philly or God knows where else, but are really filmed in Toronto. The street car tracks are a dead give away that it's not the Windy City. TV shows, too.
ReplyDeleteThe scene in Mean Girls where she pulls up to the finals for the Mathletes is Convocation Hall at University of Toronto.
I hope you see some real celebrities!
I adore NYC - hubby proposed in Central Park!!
ReplyDeleteGot to love the classic Breakfast at Tiffany's but I am also a big fan of Serendipity the movie.... (and the place... if you get a chance you absolutely have to spoil yourself at Serendipity 3)
Serendipity is one of my favorite films set in New York!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great time!
You time to go will be here in no time! What an exciting adventure to look forward to
ReplyDeleteI love NY NY. Never been, but definately a fantasy destination. Moonstruck is big favourite as are all Woody Allen films. Looking forward to seeing the new Woody Allen film starring Larry David - should be v. funny.
ReplyDeleteI love Serendipity ! I'm not big on real cheesy movie romances but I do love funny and sweet.
ReplyDeleteI really love Audrey...how gorgeous is she!!!
ReplyDeletefav movies are "love actually"...
Baz's "romeo and juliet"...
And I am a tad hooked on
"gilmore girls" yes I know sad really but just can't help myself...
Anastasia, you will LOVE "the city" as we new yorkers call it!Today my husband had the great idea to walk across the Brooklyn bridge, so we took the girls and did just that!We road the subway to little Italy and at Lombardi's, had "the best pizza on the planet" according to Zagat. We live on Long Island, but it's under an hour to get there, and our village of Northport was used in the movie "In and Out" with Kevin Kline, Tom Selleck and Joan Cusak. We would go donwntown with the kids in the stoller and watch them fiming. Not a big hit, but great fun!
