  11. I have never been to NYC, but I love seeing movies that are set in Chicago, or NY, or Philly or God knows where else, but are really filmed in Toronto. The street car tracks are a dead give away that it's not the Windy City. TV shows, too.

The scene in Mean Girls where she pulls up to the finals for the Mathletes is Convocation Hall at University of Toronto.

I hope you see some real celebrities!

  18. Anastasia, you will LOVE "the city" as we new yorkers call it!Today my husband had the great idea to walk across the Brooklyn bridge, so we took the girls and did just that!We road the subway to little Italy and at Lombardi's, had "the best pizza on the planet" according to Zagat. We live on Long Island, but it's under an hour to get there, and our village of Northport was used in the movie "In and Out" with Kevin Kline, Tom Selleck and Joan Cusak. We would go donwntown with the kids in the stoller and watch them fiming. Not a big hit, but great fun!
